Actinidia deliciosa: a high-resolution mass spectrometric approach for the comprehensive characterization of bioactive compounds

Actinidia deliciosa (A. Chev.) C.F. Liang & A.R& Ferguson, 1984 contains a large number of target analytes, which are biologically active compounds. HPLC-ion trap-MS/MS (tandem mass spectrometry) was used to identify analytes in extracts A. (varieties Abbot, Alison, Bruno, Hayward, Monti), originating from the Adler's Branch N.I. Vavilov All-Russian Institute Plant Genetic Resources. Separately, pulp kiwi fruit and its peel were analyzed for composition substances. The richest substances indicators cultivar Monti. results initial studies revealed presence 56 compounds 64 berry deliciosa. Forty-three identified first time family Actinidiaceae. New metabolites belonged 17 classes including 13 flavones, 2 flavonols, flavan-3-ols, 5 stilbenes, 4 lignans, carotenoids, sterols, 3 terpenoids, etc.
